Țara Vrancei is a micro-region with a strong cultural identity. At the same time, it possesses the key ingredients of an ecotourism destination: a natural park with its own administration, basic tourism services (accommodation and dining), and a desire on the part of public authorities—expressed through the Local Action Group (LAG=GAL Tara Vrancei)—to establish a collaborative framework for effective destination management.
