The brand was launched after series of cleaning campaigns across Iraq across the Euphrates river. The majority of the waste was plastic bottles and plastic bags.
Hala Eco Industries has began selling its first batch of stainless steel water bottles and is closely working with Iraqi enterprises and the government to manufacture and launch publicly accessible water filling stations across Iraq, with currently more than 1000 units planned to be distributed within the next year.
