Green horizons is aiming to help the environment in day to day tasks, taken for granted. Herbicides and fertilizers largely contribute to phosphorus entering lake Michigan, causing algae blooms and oxygen dead zones. There are not enough small contractors doing water runoff management. Native landscape, rain gardens, stormwater capture, are some solutions to a larger problem. We would also like to expand into the industrial Environment and work with pre-treatment plants to examine other issues
