NewPower has been established to repower midlife diesel busses to battery electric zero emission busses. This process gives extended life to an existing asset and reduces carbon emissions by 70 tones per annum per bus based on a UK industry average of 50,000 miles per annum. A repowered bus is priced at less than half the cost of a new battery electric bus, making the decarbonisation of bus fleets more affordable in our goal to zero emission by 2035.
