My name is Stephen, a mature Microbiology student in the UK studying on a prestigious integrated Master’s (MSci) programme.
Teaching labs generate large amounts of plastic waste and consumable use.
My goal is for Microbiology.eco to explore environmentally conscious microbiology teaching protocols that reduce unnecessary waste while still delivering meaningful educational value: an open-access, regularly updated resource focused on greener teaching protocols and reducing laboratory waste.
