Energia is establishing a commercial process to produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) with a goal to make price-competitive sustainability a reality. SAF is a renewable fuel derived from biomass and is a drop-in replacement to conventional jet fuel which can be fueled in current jet aircraft without requiring any modifications. While producing SAF is ultimately the output of our process, we are also doing research that is connecting sustainable water treatment to sustainable aviation.
