Story

At Vermont Forest Cemetery, we believe that our commitment to doing our best both by the planet and by the people we serve is revolutionary.

VFC is on 56 acres of a former logging tract, a part of the major wildlife corridor along the Green Mountains. Burial containers must be made of natural, biodegradable materials: no concrete, plastic, or synthetic substances. No bodies that have been chemically preserved (even with so-called "green embalming" chemicals) can be accepted for burial.
