Advanced Construction Technologies Limited (ACTL) have developed through a couple of InnovateUK projects an innovative and sustainable roof cassette. The roof cassette is made in a factory, and integrates PV, Solar Thermal heat harvesting, mineral fibre to a U-value of 0.1 and is a self supporting structure that reaches from eave to ridge. It can be used for new build and can be used to retrofit existing houses. It basically helps keep people warm and it pays for itself in between 6 and 12 years
