Molecular biologist and creative with a passion for environmental justice & storytelling. My experience in academic research, where single use plastic waste abounds, highlighted just how universally unsustainable the human enterprise has become. I aim to be a force for radical environmental justice by bringing my scientific perspective to bear in the policy sphere, as well as bearing witness to the beauty & fragility of nature through photography and journalism.
