At Kira, we're working to save energy and treat water in highly-constrained environments around the world. We are currently focused on coupling renewable energy sources (e.g., photovoltaics) to desalination in several applications: to safely and sustainably treat industrial wastewater, to bring water to farmers for agricultural needs, and to bring sustainable drinking water to remote communities, especially in LMIC as well as municipalities.
