The Circular Economy needs the full scientific engagement of intra-, cross-, multi-, inter-, and trans-disciplinary research teams to progress in a virtuous way. There are a wide variety of disciplines involved and interested in research on Circular Economy, ranging from Biology, Engineering, Chemistry, Geology, Medicine, Economy, Law, etc.
Interaction (discussion, collaboration, etc) between the different disciplines is of paramount relevance, as witnessed by the success of the SUM Symposium.
