Manufacturers offer sustainable products with supporting data, but battle to sell them to the domestic renovation market. Trade and retail shoppers are unaware of the benefits of sustainability or sceptical about it.
Now, the first A-E sustainability ratings for building materials can be used to renovate homes with more sustainable products.
