Story

Sunka Biological Station is a Lodge and Biological Reserve, protecting over 300 hectares in the unexplored Coordillera de Kutukú mountains, in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Located in the Shuar and Achuar territories Key Biodiversity Area, it offers vast potential for new species discovery. Led by tenatious indigenous leader Lizbeth Tukupi and passionate conservation biologist Robin Corrià, we provide lodging, guided research, and educational programs, all focused on protecting this vital rainforest.
