ECO PERIOD PROJECT promotes eco-sustainable period practices and creates awareness on the ill affects of regular plastic sanitary pads on the user and on the environment. Globally, millions of metric tonnes of menstrual waste in the form of disposable plastic pads, is produced each year which contributes to environmental degradation due to its non-biodegradable nature. Our mission is to transform our planet by changing current consumption patterns from ‘use-and-throw’ to one that is sustainable.
