Optimism is well-known for conducting regular Retroactive Public Goods Funding Rounds where it gives back to all those that help build open-source software and public goods. Onchain Network commits to direct >=15% of its net sequencer fee profits to Optimism to use for Public Goods Funding.
Among the projects building on chains powered by Optimism's OP Stack are UBI projects as well as transparent donation platforms.
