Story
Knockelly Castle is a medieval architectural gem, an ambitious restoration project, a learning resource and a tourism destination. We promote the guardianship of both, built heritage and the wider environment. Works to the buildings commenced in 2022, using natural building materials and traditional techniques, with plans to establish formal gardens, wildflower meadows and native woodland shortly. We run traditional building skills workshops and will hold lectures on environmental conservation.
